These terms apply to your use of the Cura Genomix website, which is based in Bhopal, India. By using the website you agree to them.

1. The service

Cura Genomix provides tools that help researchers plan and write up their studies. At present these are a sample size calculator and a sample size assistant that uses artificial intelligence (AI). We may add, change or remove tools, and change the free daily limit, over time.

2. Not a substitute for your guide

The results depend on the study design and values used. Check your design, expected values and final sample size with your guide or a statistician before you submit a synopsis, protocol or thesis. The website does not give medical advice.

3. Accuracy

The formulas are taken from published methods and tested against worked examples. Even so, the website is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it is free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose.

4. The AI assistant

The assistant uses an AI model to read your text and the abstracts of published studies. It can misread a topic, suggest the wrong design or misjudge how well a study matches yours. Every value it uses is checked automatically against the abstract it came from, but an abstract can itself contain errors, and a study may not suit your population. Check the design, the chosen study, its value and the final number with your guide before you use them.

The assistant has a daily limit of free searches. Do not use scripts or other automated means to make searches.

5. Your responsibilities

• Take expected values from reliable published sources, and cite them.
• Do not enter patient names or any information that could identify a patient.
• Do not misuse the website, for example by trying to disrupt it, break its security or copy it in bulk.

6. Your write-ups

The write-ups you create are yours. You may use them in your synopsis, thesis, papers and presentations.

7. Our content

The website's design, text and code belong to Cura Genomix. You may not copy or republish them without written permission.

8. Paid features

If we introduce paid features, the price and what you receive will be shown before you pay, and our refund and cancellation policy will apply.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bhopal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
